A STUDENT'S ODYSSEY INTO THE WORLD OF BUSINESS

Abdulsalam Islamiyyah

In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing century where black-collar job was once upon a time, even white-collar jobs are no longer available. Tapping into the world of entrepreneurship as a student will be an added service to your degree certification.

The journey from classroom to business morgue or business owner is not without any obstacles. As a student entrepreneur, you will be faced with skepticism from friends, coursemates , and family who will question your ability to succeed in both academia and entrepreneurship. However, this skepticism should fuel your determination to prove a point to them.

What makes the journey easier is their ability to balance the demands of academics with the challenges of running a business, and navigating the complexities of coursework, exams, and internships while simultaneously managing teams, securing funding, and marketing your products or services. The ability to multitask and adapt makes you an invaluable asset in the business world.

You have the opportunity to apply what is learnt in the classroom directly to your businesses, gaining practical experience and real-world skills. You also have access to a supportive community of fellow entrepreneurs, mentors, and resources provided within the university premises.

As you journey in the world of entrepreneurship, a new breed of entrepreneur is emerging, defying the traditional path of education and employment, opting instead to turn ideas into profitable ventures. They embrace failure as a learning opportunity and continuously iterate on their ideas until they achieve success.

A deeply insightful exploration. The balance between academic discipline and spiritual consciousness is precisely what our student body needs today.
