HOPE

An ember of hope glows bright within my soul,
A beacon of light in the darkest hole,
For in the depths of sorrow and pain,
A spark within glows like gold,
A promise of adventure, yet to breakthrough.
I accept difficulties as part of my tale,
Darkness may reign, but light will never fail,
The beginning may be hard, but I’ll hold on tight,
And turn my weaknesses into strengths, a new light.
When hope seems lost, and I’m unable to see;
My creator’s guidance, I trust, will set me free,
Like a river flowing, pure, wide and true,
Hope carries me to a place of peace, where happiness shines through.
It whispers words of courage, “Hold on, be bold”
And in its light, my heart finds strength to unfold
