It Leaves You

By ʿĀmatur-Raḥmān (Female servant of The Most Merciful)
Have you ever memorised a part of the Qur’an and forgotten it?
It is a problem with a solution, and the prophetic solution, according to the hadith above, is to constantly recite—muroja’ah.
Have someone who can help you in constant muroja’ah.
NabiyyulLoh (ﷺ) used to do Muroja’ah with Jubril (peace be upon him) in Ramadan.
What say you?
It’s also quite interesting how we are the latter people that Abdullah Ibn Masood (may Allah have mercy on him) spoke about.
While some of us still find it difficult to memorise, imagine how much more difficult it must have been for them back then.
Yet, we find it hard to act on it. A huge problem, yeah?
I’d say, you keep striving, dear one. Keep striving to read more of tafsir.
Keep striving to act by what you learn, for your rest is not in this world.
May your Lord make you a person of the Qur’an and make it the light of your heart. Aameen
