THE MESSAGE OF PEACE

By MUBARAK ABIMBOLA

Background

In moments of heavy grief, the heart searches for purpose. Amidst darkness and the traditions of the past, a single timeless truth brings light to the wandering soul

A mind weighed down by heavy grief,
In quiet sorrow sought relief.
Through shadows deep, a whisper came,
A gentle light, a sacred flame.

They asked him why his heart was bright,
How joy replaced his darkest night.
He smiled and said, “The peace I found,
Is from the Lord of all around.
From Allah, Lord of earth and sky,
Who hears the soul’s silent cry.”
For generations lost in time,
Sought answers in a carved design.

Even in days of old, ’tis true,
The truth was there, though known by few.
The message stands, unchanged and clear,
To calm the heart and wipe the tear:
Turn to the One who made the night,
And walk forever in His light.

True peace arrives when the heart recognises its Creator, turning away from temporary illusions to embrace the ultimate source of mercy and hope.

And that person was ME
