When I Fall (Part II)

By Abduljeleel Olanrewaju (ABJ)

“I quit” echoed,
numbed my ears,
stumbled my mind.
I ain’t a loser, I snapped.

I shuffled my choices,
each coated with risks.
I riffled through silence,
feeling the rush in my veins.

I linger—but not as a quitter.
I braced myself with a laser,
fired at will—my own Caesar.

Verily, the bush is thick,
but my wisdom lights the way.
With no spear to spar,
I spare not my demons.

Life takes turns,
but you take control.
Adjust to the wave,
and taste what it gave.

A deeply insightful exploration. The balance between academic discipline and spiritual consciousness is precisely what our student body needs today.
