Personally, deciding the perfect place to hang out with friends can be much of a daunting task at times. Too many things to consider. What do those friends like? The purpose of the hangout, the number of people hanging out together. Choosing a place like UI zoo for a business hangout might not be the best idea. We would rather not dive into that topic, which is why we are leaving it to popular vote. Let’s hear from the people.

Our Vox pop Correspondent, SALAM SHUKROH communicated with various students of the University of Ibadan about their thoughts on places they will rather go with friends.

Outing with friends, I like places filled with nature.

Botanical gardens. Because of the serenity of the environment.

Motunrayo, 300L vet medicine:

I will rather go to a tourist center, since I would be around friends, it makes us share past moments.

Mercy, 300L:                 

If I want to go out with friends, I’d go to an eatery because I really want to thrill my taste buds real bad.

Kafayah, 300L Wildlife and ecotourism:

 I will select a cinema over a restaurant and I will select a tourist site over a cinema anyways. Tourist site mainly because I love nature in person, and it isn’t a common form of relaxation people actually notice. I just love any attraction site plus it is adding to my knowledge as per I am an ecotoursim student.

Abiodun Hakeem, 300L:

Agodi Garden. To have a pleasant time together because it is quiet, trees, constant breeze and some other natural things. That to some extent gives tranquility of mind, That place is just full of nature and lovely.

Kareemah, Economics 300L:

Coldstone creamery. Because of the atmosphere and the taste of their ice cream.

Hassan, 400L Law:

In Ibadan, honestly I don’t know where I can go with friends to hangout. But Lagos, there are so many places I will want us to explore together. Malls, Reservation centres, international eateries… we can also decide to go to beach or take a ship somewhere just for fun.

Zaynab Ladele, Microbiology 300L:

 If I want to hangout with friends, I prefer a relaxation center. With lots of games and of course an environment with nature in sight. Because I love to play games and take pictures which will make up nice memories.

Adeniyi, 400L : 

Restaurant. Because I will be able to get anything I want there.
