Asalamualykum Warahmatullah wabarakatuhu
On this episode of Exclusive Interviews on Al-Faaedah Press Organization, we shall be speaking to the Chairman, Planning committee for the forthcoming Educational Conference.
Welcome, Chairman of the MSSN AAC Educational Conference Organizing Committee.
Al-Faaedah Press: Can we meet you?
Chairman: Wa Alaykum Salaam Warahmotullah Wabarakatuhu , Deputy E-In-C. It is my pleasure to be here.
I’m Abdulrahmon Abdulroheem Iyanda, a 300 Level student of Ibadan School of History. I serve presently as the DVC1 of MSSN Akinyele Area Council.
Al-Faaedah Press: Can you tell us about the MSSNAAC Educational Conference?
Chairman: Na’am, Educational Conference, as it has always been mentioned to be, is the biggest programme of MSSN Akinyele Area Council. It is an annual event that brings all secondary schools in Akinyele Area Council and Higher Institutions in Oyo State and beyond together on competing grounds from different phases of knowledge. The most of what it entails is the educational talks which in culture come up on the last day of the programme (Grand Finale), where different scholars are called to share from their wealth of knowledge.
Al-Faaedah Press: Who is the audience for the MSSNAAC EDUCONFERENCE?
Chairman: As mentioned earlier, the audience includes majorly secondary school students in Akinyele Area Council, students of Arabic and Islamic Schools (Madaaris), Higher Institutions students in South Western Nigeria and any interested participants.
Al-Faaedah Press: We’ve seen fliers call the event Council’s biggest event and you’ve also reiterated it earlier, why is that?
Chairman: Yes, it is…the Akinyele Area Council biggest event. It’s so in its scope, planning and indeed its aims. More so, there’s really no other programme Akinyele Area Council organize that brings together all members from its branches and beyond.
Al-Faaedah Press: Wow. An avenue for a general and impactful connection. Will you like to share some of the aims?
Chairman:
- Sensitizing the Muslim youth on the essence of knowledge in their lives;
- ensuring that the students acquire the required exposure for further stages of life;
- promoting healthy competition among Muslim students across the different levels of education;
- serving as a source of motivation and encouragement to contestants and non-contestants;
- testing and challenging the standard of learning of the students.
Aside those, you will disagree not with me that a programme of such scope will also serve the avenue for networking, too
Al-Faaedah Press: When does it start and how long will it span for?
Chairman: The conference is a four day not consecutive programme. It will be starting this coming Saturday, 9th November, 2024 and the Grand Finale (last day) of the programme is on the 14th of December, 2024.
Al-Faaedah Press: So, with your theme reveal some days ago, what should we anticipate to see Through the Telescope?

Chairman: Can I keep my people in suspense of what to see through the telescope?
I mean my people do say “ẹni tí a n gbé ìyàwó bọ́ wá bá, kí ga rún”. (The one you’re bringing the wife to doesn’t stretch his neck.)I believe you get.
Thus, if I am allowed not to answer this, I’ll pass (sic)
Al-Faaedah Press: We should anticipate what we’ll see through the telescope, okay.
Chairman: Exactly. Alright then, I guess we all would be anticipating things Through the Telescope
Al-Faaedah Press: Thank you so much for your time and response. We are happy to have had you on this interview.
JazakumuLlahu Khayran. May Allah make the Programme a success and definitely, we’ll be anticipating how the program unfolds.
Chairman: It’s my pleasure. Ãmeen Wa Antum Fajazakumullahu Khayron, Editor. Ãmeen
