Kindly introduce yourself
My name is Azeez Zainab Mosunmola. I am from Oyo State. I am a 100-level Linguistics student at Osun State University.
What was your UTME score?
I scored 310 in UTME.
Have you gained admission?
Yes, I have gained admission.
State your institution and course of study.
Osun State University, Linguistics.
At what academic level were you before joining the MSSN Akinyele Extramural Class?
I am a student who studies very well, and by Allah’s grace, my results have been outstanding.
How did the Extramural classes influence your academic performance and exam readiness?
Extramural classes are very impactful and inspiring because they made me realise that reading and praying are the only ways I can achieve academic excellence.
Can you describe the difference between your academic level before and after the Extramural program?
I can proudly say that my time at the Extramural influenced my performance after the program, and I have been doing very well.
Beyond academics, how did the Extramural impact your spiritual life and personal discipline?
Extramural impacted my life positively in this aspect because I am now a changed person spiritually; my deen has improved and been strengthened.
How long did you prepare for the UTME, and what was your daily or weekly study routine like?
I prepared for my UTME for about 5–6 months, but I did not really have a fixed reading schedule. I used every opportunity I had to read.
What study techniques or strategies contributed most to your high score?
I practised a lot of past questions, and although the Extramural scheduled difficult mock exams, I did not limit myself to them alone. I practised any mock I came across, whether online or physical.
What major challenges did you face during preparation, and how did you overcome them?
The major challenge I faced was educational stress because I was overexerting myself and not giving myself enough rest. I overcame it by taking breaks while studying.
In your opinion, what would you say was the key factor behind your high performance?
The key factor behind my performance is God and consistent studying, because I never relented.
What advice would you give to students preparing for the upcoming UTME?
I have one major piece of advice for students preparing for UTME: “Never give up. It is stressful and energy-consuming, but keep striving, and Allah will make it easy.”
Note: Do not overexert yourself. JAMB will pass, but you will remain.
What message would you share with future participants of the MSSN Akinyele Extramural program?
You will never regret joining the MSSN Akinyele Extramural program, so stop hesitating and give it a try.
Is there any final message you would like to share with aspiring UTME candidates?
The sky is your limit. Keep striving and moving forward. It may seem confusing, but in the end, there is always a shining star waiting for you at the top.
You can do it—I am rooting for you!
Fighting! Fighting! Fighting!
